Chris Pattacini, Vice President

Expertise: IT Infrastructure and Application Outsourcing, Contract Benchmarking, Sourcing Strategies and IT Service Delivery Improvement.

With more than 15 years of industry experience, Chris provides lifecycle support for IT service improvement initiatives as well as application and infrastructure outsourcing agreements.

Prior to his partnership with Nautilus Advisors, Chris was a Director at META Group, where he provided strategic consulting support to dozens of large-scale organizations. He has helped clients with sourcing strategy development, RFP and vendor bid evaluations as well as benchmarking and negotiation support. In addition, Chris helped clients "run IT like a business" by assisting in the creation of service catalogs, service levels and chargeback mechanisms. During his tenure, he developed various consulting methodologies, including an approach to selectively outsource IT services that minimized risk and maximized ROI. Chris was a regular speaker at both industry and META Group conferences.

Before joining META Group, he was a Project Executive at United HealthCare, where he managed a large-scale data center outsourcing deal. In addition, he previously worked on two outsourcing transactions while at United HealthCare. Prior to that, Chris held various technology positions at the Travelers.

Chris holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Connecticut.
